Race and Religion

Sunday, October 10

As sensitive as this topic may sound, I would love to touch on this issue.

Many people have asked me what my race or religion is. Some have also asked what it means to me. I shall answer them now.

I do not have a race nor a religion. I am Singaporean, and thus Multi-Racial with a lovely mix of culture and I am a Free-Thinker and a strong believer in God. I respect all religion though I may not like the concept of it.

The word 'race' means NOTHING to me. I maybe a Malay, or an Indian, or even a tinge of chinese, but does it make a difference? What purpose does race have? What difference does it make if I were to tell people I am Malayalee, when I do not practice anything from that culture? There is just no meaning behind it. I guess it's a good thing, to live harmoniously without making Race as a dividing factor.

To me, I feel that religion was created to spread good education and to control people so that we all live harmoniously. Religious practices are good, but however, not many religion has adapted to the 21st century.

Think about it, are words like "Going Against Nature" good preaching? Be naked, live under a tree, in a cave, whatever, have sex with your siblings, eat raw food, wearing clothes, building a house, being loyal and cooking food is definitely going against nature right? So why is being Gay frowned upon when we still do all these?

I am not saying religion is bad, but people must be able to decide which is good and which is bad for themselves. I feel that being a Christian or a Hindu is ok, but there is no fixed way of following religion.

I became a fan of Free-thinkerism after exploring Buddhism, hinduism, Islam and christianity. Yes, I lived with a Buddhist family, I have hindu friends, I learnt Islam and I was from a Christian School. I have learnt to respect all religion and my friends who believed in it. I feel that everyone of us there should never poke fun at different religious practices and at the same time, respect the culture, even if you do not believe in it. (Unless if it is truely ridiculous)

What are your views on this people? Are you proud of your race and religion? What meaning does it mean to you?

Charlie St. Cloud

Saturday, October 2

This movie is based on the novel "The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud"d, by Ben Sherwood. Zac, who acts as Charlie does a great job at his mature role. This movie concentrates on the special bondings between the brothers.

When Charlie's brother died, Charlie started to live in denial. He knew that his brother did not exist, but he simply refuses to let his feelings go....

I shall not reveal too much of the story line, but overall, I feel that the movie was quite good. The acting was simply excellent. It captures our emotions at the same time. The storyline could be quite confusing, but it is definitely unique to most movies. The director did a great job.

I would give it a rating of 3.5 out of 5. Recommended to watch in cinemas.

Out now for just S$10.50 or less....

Avatar: The Last Airbender Movie Review

Thursday, August 12

Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 3 out of ten, while IMDB gave it a 4.5 out of 10. Thats right people, I am talking about M. Night Shyamalan's latest work, Avatar: The Last Airbender Movie.

To be frank, after reading the review, something told me not to watch the movie as it maybe a waste of Money. However, my asian counterparts were rather stunned by the movie. Most of them gave the movie a rating which is higher than 6.

So, how did the movie really fair? Well, I shall not be generous this time, but frankly, The Last Airbender deserves at least a 7 out of 10. The details in the movie was simply fantastic. The characters lived beyond their expectations, the animations were flawless.

Universal Studios

Saturday, July 3

I have been rather tired to blog lately though. A lot of things seem to be happening and so little time to talk about it. But don't worry, everything has been rather positive by far.

So the big question is: Am I single or attached? To believe or not to believe my Facebook relationship status? Hmmp... :D Thats for you guys to decide though. I believe life should have a little suspense right?

My friends have been asking me to do a post about my experience when I went to Universal Studios and so, that request shall be entertained.

First of all, I went to the Universal Studios, Singapore on the 28th of June 2010. The tickets cost me 66 dollars, but don't worry bout it, every single cent spend is totally worth it. The entrance of Universal Studios may seem to be a bore to some, but once you get in deeper, you would feel as if you have been teleported to a whole new world.

It is true when they say that Fairy Tales exist, or so it may seem. I would not reveal much about my experience though as I feel I may be spoiling the fun. But my advice would be for you guys to go on a weekday. The place would be freaking crowded though.

The rides in the Universal Studios were much better than Escape Theme Park. Each of them has a story. My favourite part was the Revenge of the Mummy's Ride. I went on that ride for 10 times until I nearly puked. It was rather fun though.

Another must try ride would be the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure.

So how much would I rate this place eh? Well, no doubt about the rating, simply a 5/5 from me.

Eclipse

First came Twilight, than came New Moon and now,  Eclipse has arrived...

I went to catch that movie on the Release day.. I have always been somewhat of a fan of the Twilight series though. But the question is: how did the 3rd chapter live up as compared to the first 2? Let me try not to be a spoiler here.

Besides being somewhat a cliffhanger, I personally feel that Eclipse is the better of the 3. The comedy is marvelous, Action is good and story line is fantastic.

But what would make this movie really successful? Well no surprise here right? The answer would be Taylor Lautner of course.

He would make his grand appearance only during the middle of the movie, but my oh my, I heard all the ladies screaming, but funnily enough, some man were rather excited themselves too, but I shall not get to that.

There was a change of cast. The new Victoria looked way more prettier though. Moreover, the movie storyline was rather loyal towards the book...

So, how much would I rate this movie? Simply a 4 out of 5. A definite must watch yoh!

Hospital

Wednesday, June 30

The Singapore General Hospital (SGH) has received global recognition for its nursing practices and patient care.

It is the first hospital in Asia to be accredited under the "Magnet Recognition Programme".

With this accreditation, SGH now stands alongside the top five per cent of hospitals in the world which also have been recognized.  ---> Abstract from Channel NewsAsia

Well well well, firstly, I would like to take my time to congratulate the Nursing team/medical team for achieving such a prestigious status.

No doubt, the nursing practices and patient care in SGH is simply amazing. But how about interaction with third party. Lets say for example: Relatives of the patient?

I always did not like SGH as compared to other government hospital, mainly because of it's structure. It feels all so cramped up and quite gloomy. Every time someone close to me is admitted to the hospital, I end up being caught up in the middle of some miscommunication. Miscommunication between the counter security staff on the first level and the Nurses in the ward.

Its quite interesting that the latter would let you enter the ward whilst the nurses would just chase you out of the ward by giving me utter rubbish reasons. I clearly do not see why the nurses should resort to such act. Would you not want your patients to be happy? I thought one of the nursing intervention for anorexic patients is to have their friends/family members by their side?

Such inconvenience would not be caused if there were no communication barrier between those two parties. I would definitely love to talk to the nursing manager about this issue though. My main intention is not to lodge a compliant as a compliant would not help either party. I would love to offer a solution to this problem.

I find the the nurses in this particular ward should appear more cheerful towards relatives and friends of the patient. Yes, they maybe strict with their patients, but there was one nurse who treated me like a small kid (Apparently I look like a secondary school boy). The enrolled nurse gave me an obnoxious reply when I asked her if I could discuss the care plan for the patient together with the staff nurse-in-charge. But after getting irritated by such service, I told her that I myself am a Staff Nurse.

Funnily though, she just stopped talking and said she would attend to my request after lunch. But apparently its really difficult to do such a thing. I have been to this ward previously and I definitely feel that the service standard has crippled. Maybe all of us nurses could be more service oriented... Remember, service with a smile always wins the day :)

As we say, we are not only nursing the patients, we are also nursing their relatives.....
But other than that, SGH definitely is one of the most well reputable hospital in Singapore. Most of my friends who were admitted there gave positive feedbacks so far.

Private Practice

Friday, June 25

Ever since I decided to enter Raffles Hospital for my Pre-registration consolidation programme, I felt more inclined towards private practice. My experience in Raffles was somewhat different from any other government hospital I have entered. No doubt no hospital could be compared to the best, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, but the environment in Raffles is not that bad.

I got to meet very challenging patients. Sometimes even a Prince, Ministers, Hollywood stars and so on. Of course I am not able to specify who it is exactly since I have signed the non-disclosure agreement. However, after my absence in the hospital, I have told myself to go one step further.

I am now doing up my own Private Nursing for people who need me. I go to people's houses to attend to the aged relatives, my specialty actually (Thanks to TTSH). However, whats rather ironic is that people would think that I am doing this for the money, but actually, to be frank, I am doing this because I love Nursing people. Moreover, I do not like to be bound to a hospital at this moment. Its rather enjoyable though, Actually, I am even doing it for free for one of my client.

The grandmother is simply cute. Every month I just need to go over to her place, assess her. So far, she is doing very well. After the short assessment, I just need to give her her vitamin injection, and wolla, its done. The smile she gives me before I leave is simply priceless. I would want more of these actually. Hahaha...

I am just writing this post to tell people that I love what I do even though it may be deemed as a "Girly" profession. I would say as this profession brings me the satisfaction. At least it's less stressful than teaching and law. Hahaha.

Dead Man's Chest

Thursday, June 24

What is death really? Is it a new beginning? Or is it just total darkness?

I would rather believe that death is a new beginning. Though scientifically, there are evidences of reincarnation, but frankly, do we all go through reincarnation? Hmm....

Birth and death is the cycle of life. They both have to complement each other. Though death is much more less predictable than birth itself, but we must take note that tears are shed on both occasions.

I don't understand why people treat the dead really well, especially when they do not do the same when the person is alive. Why do they cry on the day in front of the motionless body when they have been cursing the person all these while? I simply do not understand.

I, on the other hand am rather immune to death. Death is not painful when I know that it has occurred to an old person, but it definitely hurts when it occurs to someone around the same age as me.

I remember my near death experiences and I am thankful for the people who tried saving me. Without that chance, I would not be enjoying my life, especially these few weeks. It has been a blast. I always considered myself to be one blessed child.

I have wealth, I have awesome parents, I have awesome friends. I practically have everything in life, but somehow I do not like to flaunt it. I do not like to flaunt my wealth. My friends usually think I come from a poor family, which is great. At least I get to be pampered... Haha!

By the way, my dear god brother's grandfather has just passed on. I guess my god brother was rather devastated as he say him die in front of his eyes. I wanted to be there for him but I could not.

However, I did meet him this evening at around 8 pm, just to accompany him. This would be my first time attending a chinese funeral. I can see the difference. In a chinese funeral, the relatives are not allowed to cry. I can see my dear brother trying his best to smile. I did make him laugh though.

He than taught me how to fold paper gold bars for his grandfather. To have a rich life in heaven. We did it until 9.45 pm. It was rather interesting though. Sometimes I wish I were chinese, because I know that when I die, I would be rich! Haha!

While folding the gold papers, I got one crumpled. My reaction was "What the Hell". I definitely got some stares when I said that. Embarrassing man!

My god brother got me this little cute keychain from Cambodia. I am gonna carry it around with me all the time. I guess these kind of things mean a lot to me. Thanks little brother! :)

I had to leave the area at around 10, but before I left the area, I saw this car....

Well not really... It was made of paper. Apparently they were suppose to burn the gold bars and the car so that he would receive it in his afterlife. Cool right?

Cheers to death... I guess...

The Island of Fun (Part 1)

Sentosa has always been 1st in our list of Tourist Attractions, but how did it live up to the locals?

Well, usually, I would go to Sentosa at least twice per year, but somehow, this visit was the best.

When I head out to Sentosa with my parents or friends, we tend to spend time at the beach. Previously, I have been to the Fantasy Island (closed), Volcano island (closed), Dolphin lagoon (closed) and the Underwater world (with my ex). Besides these, I have not been to any of the other attractions in Sentosa.

Today, Kira asked me to accompany him to Sentosa as he wanted to buy the Resort World Sentosa tickets as we would be going there this coming Monday. However, since we had a lot of time on our hands, we decided to explore Sentosa after purchasing those tickets.

It was my first time experiencing the Luge and the Skyride. The luge was rather exciting as both Kira and I were racing each other. That 'arse' kept on coming onto my lane and thus slowing me down, but as I told him I was Louis Hamilton, I took over him and won the race. Okie fine.. Only because he thought I dropped my ticket half way and stopped to pick it up for me, but still, I won that race. Haha!

The Skyride was rather scary though, dangling at mid-air, having a friend beside you who wants to rock the whole seat. My god, I was rather stiff for around 5 mins, but luckily I am still alive.

Well anyway, after that ride, we hiked along the dragon trail. It looked very untouched, as if nobody knew it existed. I think people could freely make out there, without worrying about any passerby. LOL! The dragon trail was rather interesting though. You start by walking on top of the dragon, and get to see little fountains and stuff like that.

After loosing our way, we took a bus to the underwater world. The underwater world was rather fascinating. I finally had the courage to touch the stingrays and some other fishes. Stingray's texture felt rather carpet like, like what Paul said previously. The fishes were rather smooth (Like DUH!).

We also learnt about different crabs and stuff, and came across some underwater mating, or shall I say free porn for all to see? Haha! Everyone was enjoying their time though.

When we were ready, we went to the dolphin arena. I felt that the show was rather plain, but its still worth to watch. 10 mins of entertainment, not bad at all actually.

I guess thats all we did in Sentosa, not forgetting dinning at some typical chinese restaurant at RWS. Darn worth it. The experience this time was somewhat different. I finally knew what I have been missing all these years. There is still a lot to explore in Singapore...

I would be heading to Sentosa again on Monday with Kira. We want to try out the rides at Universal Studios. Will be blogging again after that experience.

Life is just so fun =)

Toy Story 3

Tuesday, June 22

I have always been a huge fan of Pixar Animation, well mainly due to Steve Jobs, since he was the founder of it and sold it to Disney, which by the way, makes him the largest individual shareholder in Disney.

Well, let me get to the point. After my Museum trip today, I went to watch Toy Story 3 with Kira. Kira was kind enough to treat me for the 3D movie due to the fact that I payed for our Swensens lunch. Haha.

I had no idea how the story line of Toy Story 3 would be. But after watching it, I had no regrets. It is simply the best 3D movie after Avatar. Disney Pixar never fails to amuse me.

We were laughing throughout the movie, because it was dead funny. However, I did find the little baby toy rather scary looking, but other than that, the movie has no flaws. The alien guys were dead adorable. Potato man even transformed into "Prata" man and Cucumber man for a few minutes. Haha. That was just too funny.

However, the ending was quite touching, until the person beside me(Hint: Kira) started tearing. Haha. Well, to be frank, I was a little sad. I shall not give away the ending, but I guess we all need to let go of things when we know that its the time to let go. So yea, Toy Story 3 gets a 4.5/5 from me. A MUST watch movie for everyone.

Do have a nice time munching on your popcorns people. Just don't do it beside me because the sound is annoying... :D

National Museum, Singapore

I believe most of you have watched Night in the Museum, where all of the exhibits literally come to life. The National Museum of Singapore is exactly like that. Okie, well not exactly, but still, the exhibits have some life in them.

Well, some may wonder why I may be touching on something which is so random? Well, thats because I went to the Museum today, with my friend Kira. Its free admission for Students and around 10 dollars for adults. But let me tell you this, Its totally worth it.

You would learn about ancient times. The Japanese, the Chinese, the Peranakans, the tools they use, the food they ate.... and so on. It was totally interesting. We also took a look at the ancient films and cameras people used to use and some of them were actually way smaller than the ones we own now.

The trip actually made me appreciate Singapore a lot more. Its rich culture, the ability to stay so peaceful and secure in this multiracial country is something which is not common. But we have that, and thus I am truely proud of the fact.

We also saw how Singapore grew economically. From a Kampong lifestyle to a city state, just within a few years. We should realize that if Singapore would have fallen into the wrong hands, we would not be in a pleasurable state at the moment.

We also took a look at some of the garments and for your information, some of them are red carpet material. Some of them even reminded us of what Katy Perry and her gang wore in California Girls. We could not stop laughing when we had the idea of cupcake bras and so on. Well, we are guys after all right? Haha!

Well, overall, I think the trip was totally worth it. It was truely enjoyable. No doubt about that. Maybe its due to the company? Hmm.....

June

Friday, June 18

Another blog update about my life. But before I start boring you guys, I would like to share something.

The month of June is pretty shaky though. I deem this month the Month of Heart Breaks. Even Mother nature cannot contain her emotions. Well, we all know what happened to Orchard though.

I have been receiving calls, day in and day out by my friends, sobbing to me. At least 10 of them have been through breakups this month. Well for me, I had a mental break down.

As you all know, I have been single for the past month after 6 years. But I guess we need to let things go right? Moving on is not going to be easy. But with the help of my friends, I do know that I can make it. If I were to list all of their names down, i bet i can only complete it by the end of the week. Haha.

Just for the side note, I do know that I would not be able to enter another relationship as soon as possible. But who knows, if the right person walks by, we all need to grab that chance eh?

Thanks guys for being there for me in times of need. Especially those in my Facebook. Cheers.

As for my friends who are still in need, please do message me alright? I cannot promise that I would be there all the time, but I would try my best to help yea... Let's all hold hands and move forward in life...

A hangout to remember

Tuesday, June 15

Oh dear lord, Madonna is getting into my head. Everything seems Madonna lately, but I seem to like my Queen. When will she ever visit me?

Today was great actually. Malcolm, Kira, Shin and I hung out at Orchard. We went to Carls Junior to eat. The food there is rather unreasonably priced but somewhat delicious. Kira was awfully quiet. However, I did feel like stabbing myself on that day, had no idea why. Maybe due to jealousy?

Anyways, the whole day went as planned, but I needed to go to my hospital for an emergency. However, I needed to have a talk with someone really urgently. So i asked my friend to take over me and I started talking to that someone.

As usual, the month of June is rather emotional, but I guess things need to go these way. But life is great though.

Guess I need to go back to sleep eh? :)

Cheers

Madonna

Monday, June 14

All hail the Queen.... All hail the Queen.... The Queen of POP!!!

Hahaha...

I grew up listening to Madonna's music, but somehow, it kinda died off me. Until recently, a good friend of mine forced me to watch her live performances.

This went through my head: Holy molly, its true... She is the Queen after all...

Madonna's music just brings back memories during my secondary school days. On how crazy we went about her's and Britney's music. Haha.

I have nothing much to blog about her though. But I shall end this post with this question: What brought upon her success? Can we call be like her?

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Sunday, May 30

Its been rather disappointing on my part on how I have been ignoring my innocent little Fans lately. But I guess Its time for another update right? Or is it long overdue? Hmmp....

Well, this month has been a really interesting Month though. Been really busy with meet-ups and concentrating on my health. I guess I would not be working anymore until my body is back in shape. But don't yea worry bout me peeps, I'm all cool.

So lets Start with the interesting people I have met lately. Hui Wei, Asry, Radzy, Jeremiah, Adli, Kriss, Kanneth, Rahim, Arul, Kiwi, Terence, Raymond and Sabri. Well it also includes a catching up session with Petrina and Haziqah, Viknesh, Shin, Hanif, Ivan and my lovely duo, Joe and Boon Siong.

Getting to know new people can be rather tiring, but somehow enriching especially when I learn about their different background, so on and so forth. Also, their company is great. I do not feel as tensed up as before.

It's really easy to communicate with these fellow citizens even though their age ranges from 15 to 30 plus. And also, no doubt there are differences between us, but it does not seem to bother at all.

Well I guess I would be meeting up with more people next month, namely Nathan, since I have been "ignoring" him lately.. Haha! He is by no doubt, the best guy I have ever met. See ya next month Buddy!

Till next time!

Shrek

Friday, May 28

I went to watch Shrek with this new friend of mine who goes by the name Raymond. Just for the info, He is one hack of a joker! Haha! We could not stop laughing throughout our meet up.

Well anyway, Shrek was an OK movie. Its about the same theme as the previous. All about Family, Friends and how true love can save the day. I really wished they showed more of the Shrek Babies and dragon-donkey mutation thingys, because they simply look adorable!

But other than the good story line, I felt that the movie was a little too rushy.. They should have made it 2 hours of Shrek goodness! Haha!

Its a 3 out of 5 for me though. I do not think people would buy the DVD for this after watching.

Cheers!

Sex at the City 2

Thursday, May 27

What do you get when you add gay marriages, sexy "Grannies", sex, love, Man-O-Pause, twist and loads of GLAMOUR? Well you definitely get yourself a movie of a life time.

Sex at the City 2!

Frankly, I have not yet watched the first movie, but since Terence did tell me about each individual character in the Movie, I totally understood it. It is definitely really funny, and the ladies are HO-ORT!

Oh my, no doubt they be around the same age as my mother or so on, but they are DEFINITELY a treat! Haha! And their style and fashion, ohhhh lala!

Its definitely 0 on the slashion scale so its a definite MUST-WATCH for people who love fashion and comedy!

Till next time!

The Freedom To Love

Saturday, May 15

I went to the PinkdotSg event today. Basically its focusing on the LGBT community and to spread the freedom to love. I think the concept of this activity was really good. However, it was about the same as last year. 4 Performances, and a song at the end?

Whats different is, this year, PinkdotSg has shift its focus towards the Families of these LGBT people. As I said, the concept is good because it showed the positive side of the untold story. Usually on television, we see parents disowning children and so on, but the talks given by parents of the LGBT was truly touching. They talked about their ability to accept their brothers, daughters, sons and so on.

Frankly speaking, I have a lot of LGBT friends and I think that they should definitely be treated and loved as how a normal "Straight" person should. Never bring religion in between a battle of love. This is the 21st century for goodness sakes!

Till next time!

Velocity

Wednesday, May 12

Well what is velocity basically? Ohh... Velocity is the rate of change of position right? Hmmp... Teaching Hui Wei is really a challenge I should say. Having him playing around with his lap top, yet having his Physics paper tomorrow. Hmmp... totally reminds me of the time when I was in secondary school. It is definitely a bitter sweet memory.

I remember those times when I was with Hareni, us going to 888 plaza and eating mac-donalds. Ahh.... Those were the days when I was fat...

Talking about fat, I kinda find myself ultra skinny. I have been on a weight gaining spree again! Yea! gained 2 KG by far. another 2 more to go! Will keep you guys updated.

Oh well, I guess thats all for the first update. Oh yea, and before I go, just want to tell you guys that I have been HEALED! PRAISE THE LORD!!! Hahaha!

With plenty of love to give,

Your one and only :)

Busy

Tuesday, March 30

Medical appointment in CMPB was really awesome. No doubt I was feeling rather emotional, but the doctor was rather understanding.

Sometimes speaking to a neutral soul really helps you mentally.

Life has been rather fluctuating lately though. Been hearing a lot of noises lately. But I guess its not as bad as compared to certain people's life.

Been busy with Medical and work lately though....

Teaching Primary School children can be really entertaining, especially when they give you answers which you do not expect

Teaching in Raffles was fun too, especially when i got back in touch with my colleagues, and nurses and so on.

But now, I seriously need to get in touch with my friends. I have not been meeting a lot of people due to money constraints and so on.

And also, I simply can't wait to enter NS!

WOOT! Here I come!!! :)

But oh well, for these few days, I have been given so much time to myself. I guess I am getting sick and tired of single hood. Its rather boring. I simply get my enjoyment by showering love to that one special person... Oh well.....

All for 1, 1 for all

Monday, March 15

Oh dear lord! I giggled when i saw this picture. Well, to be rather frank, I am seriously nervous about my National Service. "How is it going to be like?". "Am I going to die?". "I am going to die!!! I KNOW IT!!!". LOL! all of these went through my head!

But as usual, being a very good motivator "ahem", I told myself this --> If papa can do it, why can't I? Okie, fine! I know my dad is a little bit more man than me... But if like all the sissy boys can get through it with a smile, seriously, why can't I? Well I know I would be there crying every night, but I guess it would be total FUN!!!

Its ironic though, how much i want to go inside, but at the same time am nervous... Hahaha!

CMPB sent me 2 letters today. Regarding my medical appointments. 1 is with regards to my cardiology test and the other is a Review by the Medical Officer. Both of them would be on the 25th. My AH cardiologist review will be on the 19th! Can't wait to see the doctor though! Very nice guy.

Oh yea! I forgot to tell you guys about my track-mill test. I manage to go till stage 5, but gave up after that because it was moving too fast. And being light, it just does not help! Seriously!

Well anyways, since i have finished my attachments and all, I would definitely have more time to update you darlings about my life. So just simply come back at least once a week for updates ya? Haha!!

Have a nice life! =)

Wonderland... Thanks to.....

Wednesday, March 10

Before I start talking about Alice in Wonderland, I would like to take this moment to tell everyone that it was my first time eating at a Japanese Restaurant. Sushi Teh. I dont know if I spelt it right, but the food there was awesome. Of course I still did not dare try the sushi! Hahaha!

After eating all those food, we went to watch this movie, which FYI, was not bad at all... Well i would rate it a 2.5/5 if not for Johnny Depp. But because he was in this movie, it would be a 3.5/5. Not that bad at all. Rather funny, mysterious, and interesting. Weird most of the times though.

However i feel that they should have concentrated more on the story line, rather than the talking... But Johnny did an excellent acting as usual though. Every character had a resemblance to us... Haha! And the big head lady was really funny! Hahaha!

Me and my colleagues could not stop laughing at those resemblance.. I was the humble mouse.. Small but dangerous! HAI YAH!

Just watch the trailer below

Take care darlings!!!

Wish List

Monday, March 1

Well, a friend of mine asked me to create a wish list. Please do take note that these items would be bought by me :)

1) An Apple iPad 64 GB Wi-Fi + 3G model (Sometime in April/June)

2) An Apple iMac 27 inch after revision hopefully with a wall mount so that i could throw away my study table (September)

3) A Prada glasses (Sometime before NS)

4) Painting my room black and white with little icons here and there. Just to spice things up... :)

I was thinking of getting an iPod nano for my evening jogs, but I guess I would have to re-think that.

There will be more items on my wish-list after my operation is over...

Good day people :)

After a while!

Sunday, February 7

Its been a while since I have blogged eh? Well, sometimes I simply do random disappearances, simply to shut myself from the outside world and concentrate on what I want. For now, its just another 3 more weeks to go for my attachment to end. I prefer the wards, frankly speaking. Operating theater and the Emergency is kinda boring for me.

I have been posted to the Operating Theater the past week and I kinda find things rather interesting. The skills the surgeons have, the nurses simply inspired me to be quicker on my feet. Though I have been thinking a lot lately, about me and someone else, but I have never let it interfered with my work.

Just another week more to go for my Operating Theater posting to end, and guess what? I am scrubbing next week! Which means I would help the surgeons to pass their equipments and stuff. Not an easy job I must say, but it would be an experience of a live time :)

Well anyway, I have also applied for my insurance yesterday, since I need  to go for a few scans. Rather save some money right? Haha! Guess whose my agent? MIKE OF COURSE! Hahaha! My own personal financial consultant! How interesting right? Hahaha!

Gosh, I need to save up more money. Need to buy more things!

Well I guess this is enough for the first post! More updates to be coming up!!!

And oh yes! I need to edit my blog template too! Those pictures look simply distorted! Haha!

Life is great =)

Thoughts

Wednesday, January 27

Thoughts simply swirl around my head....

Getting rather intense lately...

Imagine seeing black and white images, rather smokey....

Images which represents your most darkest kept secret, images which people MUST NOT KNOW about.....

Being teleported to the past, hearing all the screams, feeling so helpless....

For I could not battle that war alone....

And its not just 1 person.... Its 2.....

Haunting me every night, for the stupid things I had done when I was younger.....

Was it all worth it? Why do I even trust people so easily........

I wonder, when these screwed up memories of mine would end......

Its getting rather painful, waking me up during my soundless nights.....

Help me...... I desperately need help!

Sometimes...

Sunday, January 24

These few weeks have been a really tough one. Getting scolding here and there. Getting rather emotionally hurt....

I do not understand, why people need to pass you a bad remark when they do not know you at all.

But oh well, this was not the big issue....

Sometimes I wonder, if both of them were meant for each other....

It seems so perfect, when they look each other in the eye. The moments they have just being beside each other, the excitement they have....

You may tell me that you do not see him in that kind of way, but its rather impossible to believe that. Because of the strong chemistry you guys shared.

The break up was rather a mystery to me, and I shall be an idiot to keep it that way. But what puzzles me is to why not take the challenge? You guys know how much u need each other? So why not just try it?

Open House and Sherlock Holmes

Thursday, January 7

Lets see, What did I do today....

Well I went to Nanyang Polytechnic open house to support Paul and his choir singing... Well it was a wonderful performance which I would never forget.

After that, I dragged him to the Ngee Ann open house because I wanted to catch up with my lecturers. In the end we stole tons of free food and not to say, some one started to munch on biscuits cooked using dry ice... GOSH!!! LOL!!!!

Well, we felt rather bored after that, so we kinda went to watch a really wonderful, manly, action pack movie, Sherlock Holmes!

Seriously, the plot is marvelous! Everything seemed perfect. There has to be a second movie, seriously! Me and Paul felt like we needed to solve mysteries.. OH OH! GIVE US 1 CASE!!!!! LOL!!!!

Oh well, I went back home thinking of Sherlock and his gang and how wonderful it would be being Sherlock's crime partner! LOL!!!!

MC for 1 week

Tuesday, January 5

I just came back from the clinic. Well, I am diagnosed with persistent URTI. OH YEA! My tonsils are like the size of tennis balls and i have been coughing out blood since yesterday. Scary much?

Well, I introduced Paul to my family. Really nice guy ah. He followed me to the clinic to see the doctor. Well thanks man. Needed someone by my side.... He even dropped me home sia! LOL! Because I was feeling rather giddy....

Oh well, I did not wanna frighten my parents so my diagnosis is kinda kept away from them. I guess I won't be working till this Saturday.

Hopefully I would get well soon!

Life is great =)

Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!!

Well 2010 has arrived. I predict that its gonna have an awesome start. But something is gonna happen in the end of the year. Now, I wonder what that would be! HMMP!!!!

Currently hanging out with Malcolm and Paul! Having loads of fun. Sitting down at Macdonalds in Tanglin, doing our count down.

But oh well, felt really bad not spending time with my buddies, but it was a hard decision to make. Please try to understand. I mean, if you were in my shoes, you would surely make that decision right peeps :)

Well I guess thats all for now. Just wanna wish all my darlings a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
